In this week’s audio blog I’m going to discuss the major difference between well paid creative folks and and starving artists…and it’s not about talent.
Well paid creative folks see themselves as entrepreneurs. Whether the person is a writer, artist, designer, chef, coach or some other type of innovator, she creates a business structure to identify and cultivate customers for her work.

Love this post – Getting over fears or negative thinking about marketing and/or networking and truly driving the business behind your talent is so important. It’s not selling out, it’s creating a living doing something you love. Great points on really knowing your ideal customer as well. Thank you for the awesome post and audio blog!

This is really good Yvonne. Want to share it with my buddy Laree who’s doing a lot with screenwriting and the entertainment industry in general. Would it be possible to get a transcript? I would gladly pay or share a link back to this in article form. Excellent job. Really great basis for a guide…something. :)
